The crew members are astronauts Kenneth D. Bowersox, commander; Scott J. Horowitz, pilot; Mark C. Lee, payload commander; and mission specialists Steven A. Hawley, Gregory J. Harbaugh, Steven L. Smith and Joseph R. Tanner. STS-82 represents the 22nd flight of Discovery and the 82nd Space Transportation System (STS) flight.
