NASA Langley Research Center and NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson developed a partnership in 2015 to help engage students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). This partnership highlights Langley’s Rockets to Racecars (R2R) STEM education program, which uses the similarities between aerospace and racing to teach the “STEM” of all things NASA. NASA certified teachers can now teach activities from the R2R STEM Curriculum at JJR Family Ticket Packages across the country.

For examples of this partnership and comments from experienced educators, please visit Jimmie Johnson’s article.
