SOlar Radiation & Climate Experiment (SORCE)
SORCE provides measurements of incoming X-ray, ultraviolet, visible, near-infrared, and total solar radiation.Launch: January 2003Operating Network: Near Space Network

SOlar Radiation & Climate Experiment (SORCE) is a NASA-sponsored mission created by merging the EOS Solar Stellar Irradiance Comparison Experiment (SOLSTICE) and the Total Solar Irradiance Mission (TSIM). SORCE measures x-ray, ultraviolet, visible, near infra-red, and total solar radiation to study long-term climate change, natural variability and enhanced climate prediction, and atmospheric ozone and UV-B radiation.
