NASA Invites Media to Orion Media Event May 17

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Media are invited to a photo and interview opportunity Thursday, May 17, at 2 p.m. EDT at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Fla., to view Orion’s progress in the Operations and Checkout Building. Media should arrive at Kennedy’s Press Site by 1:30 p.m. for transportation to the event.
Journalists will have an opportunity to tour and photograph the high bay, as well as interview NASA and Lockheed Martin officials.
Journalists without NASA Kennedy accreditation need to apply for credentials by 4 p.m. May 16. International media accreditation for this event is closed. SpaceX launch media accreditation will be honored for this event. Badges for this specific event can be picked up at the Kennedy Space Center Badging Office on State Road 3. Media must apply for credentials online at:
