The following table contains dimensions for Ames Internal Balances. These dimensions should not be substituted for check fitting a balance for a test or installation. Dimensions such as balance pin hole diameter, roll key width, balance diameter, and tapers will change due to wear. These critical dimensions should always be measured for every fit. Internal Balance fits like balance to pin and balance to model block have close tolerances that have to be physically checked. You must not expect to do everything online.

NOTE: Every effort is made to keep these table current and correct. However, customers and users of Ames balances must verify data on file at the Balance Calibration Laboratory.
