Flight Instrument Group
The Ames Flight Instrument Group (FIG) advance the technology readiness of instruments for spaceflight missions. These efforts are critical within the Agency and traceable to the decadal survey and MEPAG Goals.
FIG employs rapid “agile” prototyping-test cycling to accelerate instrument development, leading to much quicker maturation and flight ruggedization of both custom and COTs instrumentation. Current efforts are shown describing the instruments and TRL levels.
