Astronomy Night Scheduled at NASA Visitor Center February 6

The NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center will host Astronomy Night from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6. Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, will be visible as well as a nearly full moon.

The Delmarva Space Sciences Foundation will be on-site to provide expertise and telescope views of Jupiter, the moon, and other cosmic neighbors including the Great Orion Nebula in the Orion Constellation.

The event will begin with an astronomy presentation at 7 p.m. and telescope viewing will begin at 7:30 p.m. Children activities will be available throughout the evening.

The event is free and open to the public.
