NASA Deputy Administrator James Morhard gives welcome remarks at The Maryland Space Business Roundtable’s 20th annual fall reception and lecture at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. The event is an opportunity for NASA to interact with partners in the space industry, academia and other federal agencies. It also provides a unique setting for NASA to highlight its accomplishments and contributions to society. This year’s lecture focused on planetary science, with emphasis on smaller objects in the solar system, such as asteroids and the Moon.
