J-2X Engine No. 10002 completed a successful test on June 14 at the A-1 Test Stand at Stennis Space Center.

A summer series of tests will be conducted on the advanced rocket engine, being developed for NASA by Aerojet-Rocketdyne of Canoga Park, Calif. The engine will prove upper-stage power for NASA’s new heavy-lift Space Launch System vehicle, which will enable missions beyond low-Earth orbit.
