Tannen VanZwieten, a native of Pompano Beach, Fla., is part of a team that is designing algorithms that will be used on the flight control system of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS). They are testing those concepts on an F/A-18 fighter jet at NASA’s Dryden Research Center.
