Lauren K. Abraham, a June graduate of Tehachapi High School, has been awarded the NASA Dryden Exchange Council's 2007 John K. Russell Memorial Scholarship.
The award is for $1,500 annually for up to five years.
Abraham is the daughter of Dryden operations engineer Dave McAllister and his wife, Kristin, all of Tehachapi.
Finishing sixth in a class of 292 with a 4.3 grade point average, Abraham is currently a student at California State University, Northridge, where she is majoring in psychology. She plans to continue on to law school upon graduation.
The NASA Dryden Exchange Council has offered a scholarship to children of center staff who have achieved outstanding academic accomplishment for the past 22 years.
