The truck and trailer that transported the Dream Chaser engineering test article from Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Space Systems facility in Louisville, CO, arrived on the aircraft ramp at NASA’s Dryden Flight Research Center at Edwards, CA, early in the morning of May 15, 2013. Based on NASA’s HL-20 lifting body design, the Dream Chaser began its approach-and-landing flight test program in collaboration with NASA’s Commercial Crew Program that summer.May 15, 2013
