
LDV phase-averaged experimental data is contained in the following directories:

  x_101600   data along z at x=101.6 mm (approx 8D downstream), y=0
  x_44740    data along z at x=44.74 mm (approx 1D upstream), y=0
  x_57100    data along z at x=57.1 mm (approx 1D downstream), y=0
  x_63280    data along z at x=63.28 mm (approx 2D downstream), y=0
  z_10000    data along x near orifice and near 2D downstream at z=10 mm, y=0
  z_400      data along x near orifice at z=0.4 mm, y=0

(Exact locations should be:
  1D upstream at 44.45 mm
  Center of orifice at 50.8 mm
  1D downstream at 57.15 mm
  2D downstream at 63.5 mm
  4D downstream at 76.2 mm
  8D downstream at 101.6 mm)

This information is the same information contained in
Giveout_Case2_LDV_byphase.tar.gz, except in the current directories the
data are given at each phase as a function of position (rather
than at each position as a function of phase).

Each directory contains 36 data files, one for each phase range,
every 10 deg in the following 36 "bins":
  0- 10 deg
 10- 20 deg
 20- 30 deg
 ...
340-350 deg
350-360 deg

The following data is given in each file:
 "X"       x-location, in mm
 "Y"       y-location, in mm
 "Z"       z-location, in mm
 "U"       u-component of velocity, normalized by Uinf
 "V"       v-component of velocity, normalized by Uinf
 "W"       w-component of velocity, normalized by Uinf
 "uu"      u'u' turbulent normal stress, normalized by Uinf^2
 "vv"      v'v' turbulent normal stress, normalized by Uinf^2
 "ww"      w'w' turbulent normal stress, normalized by Uinf^2
 "uv"      u'v' turbulent shear stress, normalized by Uinf^2
 "uw"      u'w' turbulent shear stress, normalized by Uinf^2
 "vw"      v'w' turbulent shear stress, normalized by Uinf^2
 "Samples" number of samples that make up the data point
           (points with low numbers of samples should be used 
           with caution)

Other than the header information, the data files are all in 
simple column format.
