Hybrid wing body aircraft are among the possible future designs for vehicles that will be much friendlier for the environment. NASA and its partners are using models, simulations, wind tunnel tests, and flight tests of subscale remote-piloted vehicles to test their potential.
Arthur and the model are at the NASA exhibit at the International Balloon Fiesta, which draws tens of thousands of flight enthusiasts of all ages.View NASA’s Balloon Fiesta Flickr Gallery →
