2010 National Awardees

NASA is partnering with the following entities in the Summer of Innovation initiative to use the agency's out-of-this-world missions and technology programs to boost summer learning, particularly for students who are underrepresented and underperforming in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM.

The Summer of Innovation 2010 Awardees develop collaborations between school districts and informal education providers to excite and engage thousands of students in high quality learning experiences. NASA supports these partner institutions as they engage local teachers in professional development to support high quality instruction in STEM disciplines.

The SoI 2010 Awardees are:
•  Massachusetts Institute of Technology
•  New Mexico State University
•  Paragon TEC, Inc.
•  University of Idaho
•  Wyoming Department of Education
