NASA’S Brenda Manuel Honored by Society of Women Engineers
Brenda Manuel, NASA Associate Administrator for Diversity and Equal Opportunity was honored March 24 by the Society of Women Engineers as the 2010 recipient of the group’s President’s Award. A lawyer by training, Manuel was recognized for her longtime efforts on behalf of women pursuing careers in the STEM fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Manuel received the award at a reception on Capitol Hill in Washington.
