Commander Alan Poindexter will lead the STS-131 mission to the International Space Station to deliver a multi-purpose logistics module filled with science racks for the station's laboratories.

The mission's three spacewalks will include work to attach a spare ammonia tank assembly outside the station and return a European experiment from outside the Columbus module.

This will be the 33rd shuttle mission to the station.
