The CALIPSO Satellite landed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, Calif., on May 20, 2005. The Russian transport plane, the Antonov, that was used to deliver the cargo, touched down at 10:49 a.m. PDT (1:49 p.m. EDT).
