NASA Television (Live Streaming)

View live coverage of NASA events, as well as regularly scheduled programming, via streaming NASA TV. A complete schedule of upcoming events can also be found there. The NASA TV public, education and media channels are streamed 24/7. Live video from the International Space Station is also available.

The streams are available both in Flash and through UStream, which adapts its format to devices and browsers. Separate streams are available for mobile devices.

Interactive Features

Web teams around NASA use Interactive Features to highlight current missions and plans through more immersive online experiences. The newer features use HTML5 and other techniques to provide a cross-platform, multi-device experience that should not require plugins.

Many older interactive features are created with Adobe Flash.  You can download it for free at http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html.

Some other features include Microsoft Silverlight and Unity.

Online Video

Many feature stories have accompanying video. The site also includes a video feature gallery, which highlights the latest mission and event-related videos.

Featured videos are provided as part of the NASA.gov YouTube channel, in formats that work across browsers, devices and platforms without requiring installation of additional proprietary plug-ins and players.

Additional video can be seen via the NASAcast and other Video podcasts.

Live Audio

NASA frequently broadcasts live audio of media teleconferences on the NASA News Audio page. Streaming is available via UStream and an embedded Flash player, and works on mobile devices as well. Check the page for upcoming events.
