NASA Community College Program to Host Two Virtual Info Sessions

The NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars program will hold two virtual information sessions for college students for the current recruitment period ending May 13.

NCAS patch

NCAS builds a diverse future science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) workforce by engaging two-year degree-seeking students in authentic learning experiences. Students get a closer look at NASA’s unique missions, diverse workforce, and world-class facilities and learn how to develop their talents, interests, and passion to become future STEM professionals.

After successful completion of the NCAS online course, NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia hosts NCAS on-site experiences throughout the year for selected students.

The virtual info sessions are Thursday, April 30 (2 p.m. Eastern) and Thursday, May 7 (6 p.m. Eastern).

In order to attend, students must click on the dates to auto generate an email requesting the link, meeting ID, and passcode. Students can also email JSC-NCAS@mail.nasa.gov directly.
