Why is it important for there to be women in Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) jobs at NASA?
Diversity of any kind is important and diversity in gender is no exception. I have seen many bright women who are my mentors, co-workers and overall professionals in ICT field and I have seen how much value they bring to the table. They bring a different perspective and their tenacity and hardworking efforts are unmatched. As we progress into the future, my hope is that more girls and women look at the historic role models that have made an impact in our society and maybe someday we can see more women like Margaret Hamilton, Grace Hopper or Ada Lovelace in the world.› We Are NASA SCaN Image Gallery
