The United Launch Alliance Atlas V carrying NASA's TDRS-L satellite lifts off from Space Launch Complex 41
TDRS-L Rockets into Orbit

Jan. 23, 2014 - Smoke and steam from the Atlas V rocket glow against the darkened sky at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Space Launch Complex 41. Sealed atop the rocket is NASA's Tracking and Data Relay Satellite, or TDRS-L, bound for Earth orbit. Liftoff occurred at 9:33 p.m. EST.
