James Webb Space Telescope Sunshield Sets Sail
Technicians appear to be setting a sail as they hoist up layers of a full-scale engineering model of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope sunshield at the Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Space Park facility in Redondo Beach, Calif. The layers will be subjected to tests to ensure the sunshield layers can withstand launch and deployment in space. For more information, visit: jwst.nasa.gov Credit: Northrop Grumman
