NASA Marshall to Host Marshall Small Business Alliance Meeting, Present Industry & Advocate Awards Sept. 21 at U.S. Space & Rocket Center

More than 500 representatives of large and small businesses, NASA prime contractors and subcontractors will participate Sept. 21 in a Small Business Alliance Meeting organized by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

The event will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. CDT at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration, part of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville. Leading Marshall personnel will brief attendees on the latest contract opportunities.  At 9:30 a.m., Marshall will present its annual Industry and Advocate Awards for fiscal year 2017, identifying individuals, prime contract firms and subcontractors whose contributions enabled Marshall to successfully execute NASA’s mission.

Speakers will include Marshall Director Todd May; Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle; Madison Mayor Paul Finley; Decatur Mayor Tab Bowling; and Dr. Deborah Barnhart, executive director and chief executive officer of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
