NASA Administrator to Roll Out FY-2013 Budget Feb. 13 at 1 P.M. CST; Marshall Director Robert Lightfoot to Meet With Media at 3 P.M.
What: NASA Administrator Charles Bolden and Chief Financial Officer Elizabeth Robinson will brief reporters about the agency's fiscal year 2013 budget Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. CST. Robert Lightfoot, director of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will hold a news conference with members of the Huntsville-area media at 3 p.m. Lightfoot will discuss the budget proposal and its impact on the Marshall Center, and take questions from media personnel.

Administrator Bolden's news conference will be broadcast live on NASA Television. Bolden will take questions from news media representatives at NASA Headquarters and field centers. The NASA budget and supporting information will be available online Feb. 13 at noon CST, at:

When: -- Administrator Charles Bolden's news conference -- 1 p.m. CST, Feb. 13. (To ensure adequate security processing and badging time, members of the Huntsville-area media are encouraged to arrive at Gate 9 no later than noon.)

To attend: News media interested in attending the event should contact Jennifer Stanfield in the Marshall Center's Public & Employee Communications Office at 256-544-0034 no later than 9 a.m. CST on Monday, Feb. 13. Media must report to the Redstone Arsenal Joint Visitor Control Center at Gate 9, Interstate 565 interchange at Rideout Road/Research Park Boulevard. Vehicles are subject to a security search at the gate. News media will need two photo identifications and proof of car insurance. Visitor parking is available in front of Building 4200 on the southwest side.
