Students Will Share Their Experiences at Poster Session
By: Meredith Sumner

Two hundred college students will gather in NASA Langley’s Reid Conference Center on August 4 to present their research findings. The students have spent their summers participating in NASA internship programs, and are using this opportunity to share their accomplishments with each other and the Langley community.

Each student has created an abstract, technical report and poster detailing the research project they conducted. The students will be share their posters from 10 AM to 2 PM. All employees and retirees are encouraged to attend the event.

The students are participating in six internship programs that NASA Langley has to offer. The programs are the Langley Aerospace Research Summer Scholars (LARSS), Undergraduate Student Research Program (USRP), Exploration System Mission Directorate Higher Education Project (ESMD), Motivating Undergraduates in Science and Technology (MUST) and Achieving Competence in Computing, Engineering and Space Science (ACCESS), which are sponsored through the Office of Education; and DEVELOP, which is sponsored by the Science Directorate. Students enrolled in these programs take part in not only research, but NASA tours and networking activities as well.
