Youth Day at NASA's Langley Research Center
Are you looking for an exciting, fun place for youth to explore? Let them explore NASA's Langley Research Center during Youth Day on Friday, Aug. 12.

The Office of Equal Opportunity Programs and the Strategic Relationships Office are excited to once again invite all employees (civil servants and contractors) to bring your daughter, son, niece, nephew, granddaughter, grandson, neighbors and friends to NASA Langley's Youth Day this Friday.

This year's activities, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, takes place in and around the Reid Conference Center.

Youth can explore new interactive exhibits, try exciting hands-on experiments, take a tour of Langley's facilities, see a F-22 and win great prizes.

Registration for the event is not necessary; however employees should inform their supervisors regarding their planned participation. For security purposes, sponsors are required to accompany their visitors at all times while on the center and badges are not required for visitors under the age of 16.

Groups of children are welcomed to participate in this event. If an employee plans to bring a group of 5 or more persons, then please contact Venita Robinson at 757-864-2560 or Katrina Young at 757-864-3868 by close of business, Tuesday, August 9th.

Employees are encouraged to pre-arrange visitor badges in advance for the event. Sponsors of visitors must submit a Langley Form 103 a minimum of 3 working days prior to the date of the event. Anyone 16 and over will require a visitor badge and sponsorship.
