On Saturday, April 26, the Christopher Newport University (CNU) Institute for Science Education and NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton will host EarthFest, an event to inspire our community and inform them about how everyone can help protect the planet.
EarthFest will be held at CNU from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. EarthFest will feature a variety of fun and educational activities, music, and art for people of all ages. Events take place both inside CNU's Ferguson Center for the Arts and immediately outside on the lawn.
Want to learn more about Earth and the challenges we face? Attend lectures and participate in ask-a-scientist panels from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lectures will be held in the center's 450-seat Ferguson Theater and ask-a-scientist panels in the Studio Theater.

Plus enjoy a multitude of exhibits and activities throughout the day from CNU, NASA, and other participating organizations.
Food and beverages will be on sale and parking is available at CNU, Todd Stadium, Mariners' Museum and the Peninsula Fine Arts Center. A free shuttle bus service to CNU from the stadium will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
