Tennessee Titans Honor NASA Astronaut Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore During Christmas Eve Football Game

HOUSTON – NASA astronaut Barry “Butch” Wilmore will return to his hometown on Dec. 24 to raise the 12th Tennessee Titans flag during the team’s Christmas Eve game. The Titans are hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars with kickoff at noon CST at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn.
Wilmore, who was selected as a pilot by NASA in 2000, will make other appearances in the Nashville area to spread holiday cheer and to inform the public about his experiences aboard the space shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station.
On Dec. 28 Wilmore will visit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the Adventure Science Center from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
