NASA Administrator to Visit Orion Mockup in Houston

HOUSTON – NASA Administrator Charles Bolden will be available to media during a visit to the Johnson Space Center on Monday, Sept. 26.
Media are invited to film as Bolden and Johnson Space Center Director Michael L. Coats visit the Orion facilities inside Johnson’s Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at 1 p.m. A brief media availability will immediately follow in that facility.
Media interested in attending should contact the Johnson Space Center newsroom at 281-483-5111 no later than 10 a.m. CDT Monday, Sept. 26.
The Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Module is being developed by NASA as the nation’s deep space exploration spacecraft. In conjunction with NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS), Orion will carry astronauts to asteroids, Mars and other destinations in the solar system.
