Once again, the hearts of all of us at the Johnson Space Center go out 
to the Shepard family.



Louise Shepard was a very special person. She was a constant source of 
strength for Her husband, Alan, and a valued, effective advocate of 
the human spaceflight program from its inception.



We send our deep condolences to her three daughters and the entire
