The fourth of several groups of prospective astronauts will be at NASA's Johnson Space Center (JSC) the week of December 10 for orientation, interviews and medical evaluations.

Foreman (Commander, USN), Leonardtown, MD; Robert F. Fuschino (Major, USAF), Valencia, CA; Derle G. Hagwood, Jr. (Major, USMC), Stafford, VA; Charles O. Hobaugh (Captain, USMC), Lexington Park, MD; Dr. Worthe S. Holt, Jr., Beech Grove, IN; Mark M. Jackson (Captain, USA), Reston, VA; Dr. Douglas W. Johnson, Jacksonville, FL; Ginger Kerrick, Webster, TX; Stanley N. Koszelak, Ph.D., Riverside, CA; Jennifer M. Long, Ph.D., California, MD; Carl Meinhart, Ph.D., Novi, MI; Donald R. Pettit, Ph.D., Santa Fe, NM; Marcum L. Reagan, League City, TX; Ernest Simo, Ph.D., Dallas, TX; Huland C. Smith (Major, USAF), Niceville, FL; Natalie A. Astronaut candidate selections are conducted approximately every 2 years. The number of candidates selected depends upon the Space Shuttle flight rate, overall program requirements and astronaut attrition.
