Johnson Space Center's Chamber K is a temperature enclosure which is programmable by means of a computerized controller. It can be programmed for any temperature profile desired with variable soak times and rates of temperature change. Cooling is accomplished by a mechanical refrigeration system. Heating is accomplished by indirect heating of circulated air. It is typically used to perform thermal acceptance and certification tests of spacecraft components. Chamber K can be remotely controlled and monitored.

    Working Dimensions: 3’ high x 3’ wide x 3’ deep
Useable features: Obervation window, two glove ports; remotely, controlled, fully programmable temperature.
Remote controlled variable nitrogen purge for dying out chamber environment and prevent moisture.
