Johnson Space Center's Chamber H is a programmable-temperature enclosure for large test articles. It is automatically controlled to a user-defined temperature profile. Cooling is provided by an open loop liquid nitrogen heat exchanger, and heating is accomplished by electric resistance heaters. The chamber air is circulated across the heat exchanger and heater coils with a wide dispersal of the output stream for uniform temperature distribution.

    Working Dimensions: 8’ high x 8’ wide x 15’ deep
Useable Features: 2 observation windows; 2 glove ports below each window; two 4 in x4in feedthrough ports; fully programmable temperature profile; variable nitrogen purge for dying out chamber environment and prevent moisture.
