NASA Glenn conducts Comprehensive Test of Outdoor Siren and Public Address System
CLEVELAND -- NASA's Glenn Research Center will test its outdoor mass notification and public address system at Lewis Field on Saturday, September 19, between 9 a.m. and noon. During this period, several tests will be conducted of the warning siren and voice messaging system.

While the warning system is meant to alert center employees in the event of an emergency, the sound may also be audible in the neighborhoods surrounding NASA Glenn.

The center's outdoor mass notification system is used to warn employees and visitors of severe weather, workplace incidents and emergencies.
