US, Indonesian High School Students Discuss Robotics Via Video Link

Members of the NASA Dryden-supported Lancaster, Antelope Valley and Tehachapi High School robotics teams discussed their common interest in robotics with Indonesian students via a Distance Learning Network video linkMembers of the NASA Dryden-supported Lancaster, Antelope Valley and Tehachapi High School robotics teams discussed their common interest in robotics with Indonesian students via a Distance Learning Network video link (in video monitor), April 19. The students were connected through the Distance Learning Network at the AERO Institute's Exploration Gallery in Palmdale and the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta. Sponsored by NASA Dryden's Office of Education, the event supported the Obama Administration's initiative to seek a new beginning with Muslim communities around the world and NASA's efforts to establish new partnerships in space cooperation and the development and operation of robots for extending human capabilities and improving life on Earth.
