FEMALE SPEAKER: I was at home in my living room with my parents and my brother. The reason I remember it is because it was his birthday, and that was an extra special birthday present. We all gathered around the TV to watch it, and it was very exciting, something different, something that had never happened before, and we felt, you know, that it was very historic. So that's why I remember it, because of my brother's birthday.

Other fond memories I have are going to Cape Canaveral and the Kennedy Space Center as a kid. I think that lunar landing helped make me decide to want to do that, and we had a great time there, did not get to see a launch, but we were able to go through and see everything. I took lots of pictures that I still have, and I really enjoyed it.
