On Oct. 4, the "Rachael Ray Show" highlighted the cook's August visit to the Johnson Space Center. The show aired on her nationally-syndicated talk show. Ray toured the center and met with several employees, including STS-116 crew members, whose mission is scheduled for launch in December. Onboard will be a recipe created by Ray and prepared for flight by JSC's food scientists.

NASA will again be featured in a special episode of "Emeril Live" at 6 p.m. EDT this Saturday, Oct. 7, on the Food Network. Emeril Lagasse designed a meal for the Expedition 13 crew on the International Space Station. The show explores the process of recipe development and includes a unique satellite linkup between the chef and crew.
