Credit: NASA On August 1, a total solar eclipse will be visible in parts of Canada, northern Greenland, the Arctic, central Russia, Mongolia and China. The eclipse will not be visible in most of North America, but you can watch the eclipse on NASA TV or online at the Exploratorium Web site. The eclipse begins at 6 a.m. ET.
