Science: For Earth Science Research and Analysis, the Terrestrial Observation and Prediction System (TOPS) Irrigation continued deployment of the sensor network instruments in lysimeter field, transplanted processing tomato crop with USDA and CSU Fresno, completed repairs to lysimeter irrigation system, and initiated lysimeter experiment and began deploying surface renewal instrumentation; for Airborne Science, the WB-57 aircraft ribs, spars, and clips for the honeycomb panels were completed and are ready for assembly including for IceBridge where the first 2010-2011 data delivery was made to the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) and includes Level 0, gravity, magnetics, positioning and laser data; for Venture Class, the Carbon in Arctic Reservoirs Vulnerability Experiment (CARVE) on the Twin Otter aircraft team was ferried down from Fairbanks, AK to Idaho where flights were performed over Salt Lake City and a brush fire in Northern Utah, as well as performing radiometer calibration data analysis over the Great Salt Lake and Lake Utah.

Cross-Agency Support for Hurricane Damage Repair Projects at the Johnson Space Center (JSC): NASA continues to support a performance audit on the Cross-Agency Support JSC Hurricane Repair activities which began on August 31st.

Science: Continue in May the Earth Research Science, Terrestrial Observation and Prediction System (TOPS) Irrigation, coordination with USDA & CSU Fresno regarding ongoing maintenance of experiment and deployment of additional soil moisture instrumentation in tomato field with partner grower; Venture Class Carbon in Arctic Reservoirs Vulnerability Experiment (CARVE) flight planning for the June Oklahoma flights; Airborne Science Airborne Microwave Observatory of Sub-canopy and Subsurface (AirMOSS) radar performance trade study; WB-57 ailerons effort; and the Earth Science Research and Analysis Virtual Terrestrial Observation and Prediction System (V-TOPS) software integration task.

Cross-Agency Support for Hurricane Damage Repair Projects at the Johnson Space Center (JSC): All CAS restoration projects are completed; no additional repairs are planned.

Exploration: The ARES (Upper Stage) Vertical Assembly Tool software coding will continue in May.
