NASA has awarded the Headquarters Protective Services Contract to Diversified Protection Corporation of Alexandria, Virginia.
This is a hybrid contract with a firm fixed price core and an indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) component. The base year awarded amount is $4,590,554 with four additional option periods potentially extending the contract through April 30, 2022. The total potential value of the contract, including all options and the maximum IDIQ value is $27,813,885.
The contractor will provide security support services for NASA Headquarters that consist of, operating and maintaining on-site uniformed protective forces; performing locksmith services; performing security systems administration support and services; performing administrative and technical support to assist the security office staff; and acquiring, installing, maintaining, and repairing items related to the Enterprise Physical Access Control System.
