Deborah H. Urbanski
ADR Program Manager
Deborah H. Urbanski, Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Texas in 1983, and a doctor of jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 1992.
Deborah has served with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Houston for the last 10 years and most recently in the role of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Coordinator. She has a wealth of knowledge in the Equal Employment Opportunity and diversity disciplines, with her strengths in alternative dispute resolution and mediation. Deborah has been mediating since 1991 and has conducted well over 1200 mediations. She is a frequent speaker on dispute resolution topics and regularly directs courses in conflict resolution, negotiation and related topics for mediators, government, schools and business.
Prior to the federal government, she has served in such positions as the Executive Director with the Fort Bend County Dispute Resolution Center, President and Attorney-Mediator with Dispute Resolution Consultants International, and Director of Special Projects with the University of Houston's (A.A. White) Dispute Resolution Institute.
Sherry L. Hatcher

Ms. Sherry Hatcher joined the Johnson Space Center Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity team in July, 2008. She has an extensive EEO background, serving as an EEO Specialist in the Civil Rights Regional Office for the USDA Forest Service, EEO Director, United States Army Alaska, and EEO Specialist Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Sherry began her EEO career as a collateral duty counselor and trainer while working as a training coordinator for the Army. Ms. Hatcher currently serves as the Complaints Manager at JSC.
Ms. Hatcher claims Texas as home, but has lived most of her adult life throughout the U.S. and overseas. She began her federal service as a DoDDS teacher in Misawa Japan and has held positions in Omaha, Nebraska, Crete, Greece, Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dayton, Ohio and Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska.
Ms. Hatcher graduated from North Texas State University with a B.S. in Education and attended Graduate school at Texas Women's University in Denton, TX. She taught gifted and talented education before entering the federal service.

Janelle Holt is an EO counselor and has served NASA in several capacities during her last ten years at Johnson Space Center (JSC). Prior to joining OEOD she implemented several of JSC's Higher Education, and Student Employment Programs in the Office of Education. As the Minority University Research and Education Program (MUREP) manager, she facilitated the selection and placement of over 340 of the 650 interns JSC has hosted since 2004. During her time in the office of Education, Janelle also oversaw over $40M in JSC grant activities while ensuring that MUREP competitive research programs were administered in accordance to budget, timeline and deliverables guidelines.
Prior to joining the JSC Education Office in 2004, Janelle served in JSC Human Resources and Procurement Offices, respectively. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing/Management from Tulane University with a Masters of Business Administration.
