11.21.11 - Students and scientists at Howard Beltsville Center for Climate System Observation (BCCSO) secure a moored balloon after it deployed sensors to obtain profiles of meteorological variables and pollutants in the atmospheric boundary layer. During a recent NASA P3-B Orion fly-over of the Howard Beltsville site, the sensor payload on the balloon supplied ozone, NO, temperature, relative humidity and aerosol concentrations.
