NES Video Chat: Starry, Starry Night
March 16, 2012

NASA Explorer Schools held a video chat on March 16 with Dr. Michelle Thaller. Students asked Thaller about her career path, how she became interested in science, or any questions about astronomy at NASA.

When searching for a career, the best advice is always to find something you truly enjoy doing. There is no better example of this than Dr. Michelle Thaller, assistant director of science for communications at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.

When she isn't performing authentic 16th century court dances at renaissance fairs, Thaller shares her passion for science and astronomy with the world. She previously worked with the Spitzer Space Telescope at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. Thaller now helps Goddard's science divisions and public outreach to function as a whole and share the amazing work they do with the world.
