NASA Explorer Schools e-Professional Development Opportunities

The NES project offers several 90-minute electronic professional development sessions throughout the year for each classroom lesson supported by the project. These highly informative sessions are delivered through NES partner organizations, National Science Teachers Association and Georgia Tech. Each interactive session provides an overview the featured lesson and support materials in each product module.

Participation in a session requires a computer connected to the Internet. For audio, you must have either a headset with a microphone connected to the computer or simultaneous access to a telephone capable of calling a toll-free telephone number.

Registered NES educators may attend as many e-professional development opportunities as they would like.

Oklahoma State University awards Continuing Education Units to registered NES participants for participation in NES live professional development Web seminars. For more information visit the CEU Webpage .

For information about each featured lesson, log into the NES Virtual Campus and click on the Lesson Library button (in the left column).
