The NASA Postdoctoral Program, or NPP, offers scientists and engineers the opportunity to conduct NASA research in astrophysics, astrobiology, heliophysics, planetary science, earth science, space technologies, aeronautics, human exploration and space operations. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctorate degree before beginning the postdoctoral fellowship, must apply to an open research opportunity and must relocate to the advisor's NASA center or institution where the research will be performed. Maintaining residency at the advisor's NASA center or institution during the tenure of the appointment is required. Oak Ridge Associated Universities administers the NPP on behalf of NASA. NPP applications are accepted year-round with deadlines on March 1, July 1 and November 1 each year. For more information, please visit the NPP website at http://nasa.orau.org/postdoc/.
