On December 27, 2010, President Obama signed Executive Order (E.O.) 13562 establishing the Pathways Programs, to provide clear paths to Federal employment for students and recent graduates. On May, 11, 2012, the Office of Personnel Management, or OPM, issued the final regulations implementing the Pathways Programs, in the Federal Register/Vol. 77, No. 92/May 11, 2012. The Pathways Programs consists of three components which are the Internship Program, the Recent Graduates Program, and the Presidential Management Fellows Program. The new streamlined Pathways Programs replaces the Student Temporary Employment and Student Career Experience Programs and enhances the Presidential Management Fellows Program.
NASA Pathways Programs provide opportunities for students and recent graduates to be considered for Federal employment through:
