NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge
November 18, 2013

[Students Grades 9-Higher Education]
[Available: Nationally & Internationally]

NASA's engineering design challenge focuses on NASA’s current plans to explore planets, moons, asteroids and comets -- all members of the solar system family. The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (formerly NASA Great Moonbuggy Race) will focus on designing, constructing and testing technologies for mobility devices to perform in these different environments, and it will provide valuable experiences to students who may someday be responsible for future mission planning and crewed space missions to other worlds. The challenge will be held at the U. S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.
