Community College Aerospace Scholars

Funded by the Texas legislature, CAS is an interactive online learning experience highlighted by a two-day experience at Johnson Space Center and Marshall Space Flight Center. Selected students are encouraged to study math, science, engineering and computer science by interacting with engineers at JSC and MSFC.

NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge

The NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge (formerly NASA Great Moonbuggy Race) is an engineering design challenge that will focus on NASA’s future mission planning and crewed space missions to other worlds. Participants will design, construct, and test technologies for mobility devices to perform in different extraterrestrial terrain environments. The challenge will provide valuable experiences that engage students in the technologies and concepts that will be needed in future exploration missions.
