| CCDev Paragon Space Development Corporation was awarded up to $1.44 million to develop the Commercial Crew Transport-Air Revitalization System (CCT-ARS). The ARS incorporates the following essential life support functions into an integrated, yet modular and reconfigurable package that can be integrated into any contemplated commercial crew transport vehicle: (1) Carbon dioxide control; (2) Atmospheric humidity control; (3) Trace contaminant control; (4) Post-fire atmosphere recovery; (5) Airborne particulate filtration; (6) Primary cabin air circulation and (7) Cabin air cooling. The CCT-ARS works in concert with other vehicle Environmental Control and Life Support (ECLS) systems to provide complete life support functionality for commercial vehicles that are now under development. These vehicles will provide crew transport to the International Space Station (ISS) and other Low Earth Orbit (LEO) destinations. |
